Jhellies Banaag has been working for Learning ARTS since 2015 and began as a Registered Behavior Technician. She was promoted to the Behavior Specialist position in January 2018, became a BCaBA in August 2018 and a BCBA in May 2020. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Sacramento State University and completed her Masters of Science degree in Psychology at Purdue Global University Global with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. Jhellies has completed research with Dr. Penrod and Dr. Miguel at CSUS and recieved her ABA certification. She also completed research at UC Davis MIND Institute with Dr. Heung and Dr. Rocha as a research assistant. Over the years she has engaged in a variety of research projects that focused on pediatric and verbal behavior, interdisciplinary training of neurodevelopmental disabilities, early intervention approaches, evidence-based treatments and extending these to underserved communities. She shares a strong passion for Learning ARTS and all the many successes of her clinical work with her patients. In her spare time, Jhellies enjoys quality time with her loved ones and being outdoors with her dogs!
