Maylis Ardourel was born in Paris, France and moved to Alameda, CA when she was 5 years old. In 2017, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Human Development, from the University of California, Davis. She then completed her BCaBA graduate coursework from the California State University, San Marcos in 2019, and has now continued onto Ball State University to pursue her Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with a Certificate in Autism. She started her journey in ABA back in 2017 as an RBT in the Sacramento Area. During this time, she gained extensive experience providing in-home and in-school ABA services. After moving back to the Bay Area, Maylis joined the Learning ARTS team in July 2018 as a Behavior Specialist for the East Bay and was promoted to BCaBA in January 2020. During her free time, she enjoys being with family outdoors. Maylis loves to snowboard during the winter and go camping during the summer. Lake Tahoe is a frequent vacation destination for her! She also loves to cook and bake, with deserts being her favorite. She has a huge sweet tooth!
